Payment Terms and Conditions
Thank you for choosing to make your insurance premium payment online. Please review these important Caribbean Alliance Insurance Company Limited (“CAIC”) third party payment processing terms and conditions before proceeding. These terms and conditions apply to all payments made through CAIC’s authorized third-party payment gateway processor (“Gateway Processor”).

1. USE OF THIRD-PARTY PAYMENT PROCESSOR
All credit and debit card payments are facilitated through CAIC’s Gateway Processor CAIC does not directly process or store any card information provided during this transaction.
2. PAYMENT, PAYMENT POSTING AND EFFECTIVE DATE
All payments must be in one of the approved foreign currencies for the territory; that is, Eastern Caribbean Dollars (XCD), Barbados Dollars (BBD), Bahamian Dollars (BSD), Cayman Island Dollars (KYD), Antillean Guilders (ANG) or the United States Dollars (USD), as appropriate.
Premium payments made via the Gateway Processor, will be credited to your insurance policy only once the funds have been successfully received and reconciled by CAIC. Payment confirmation by the Gateway Processor does not constitute confirmation of insurance coverage. Please allow up to two (2) business days for payment to be posted.
3. NO LIABILITY FOR PROCESSING ERRORS
CAIC is not liable for any delay, error, or failure in payment processing as a result of your actions or arising from the Gateway Processor’s systems or service interruptions. It is your responsibility to ensure timely payment and the accuracy of the information provided.
4. DATA SECURITY
CAIC is certified as compliant with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards, which governs the safe handling and storage of payment card information. Your payment details are encrypted and securely transmitted via the Gateway Processor’s platform.
5. REFUNDS
Any refunds for overpayment, cancelations, or other adjustments will be handled in accordance with CAIC’s refund policy. Please note that service fees, where applicable, are not refundable under any circumstances.
Please contact your CAIC representative for any requests for refunds.
6. PRIVACY
Your personal and payment information will be shared with the Gateway Processor solely for the purpose of processing your transaction.
Any data you provide CAIC shall be processed in accordance with the CAIC Privacy Policy.
7. 3-D SECURE AUTHENTICATION
If your card issuing bank supports 3-D Secure Authentication (such as verified by Visa, MasterCard or SecureCode) your transaction may require additional verification for enhanced security. You may be prompted to enter a one-time password (OTP) or complete an identity check through your banking app or online platform.
If 3-D Secure is not supported by your bank, your payment will still be processed using standard secure encryption protocols.
8. CONSENT AND AGREEMENT
By proceeding with this payment, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
• these terms and conditions including any updated changes in terms and conditions from time to time through CAIC’s website
• to authorise the Gateway Processor to charge your selected payment method on behalf of CAIC.
